NEW CHANEL CAMPAIGN - with Gisele Bundchen

Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen is the newest star to join the elite list of Chanel N°5 stars that include Marylin Monroe, Brad Pitt and Nicole Kidman.

Australia’s Oscar winning director Baz Luhrmann is tasked with filming the campaign. This is the second time “Moulin Rouge” Luhrmann is directing a Chanel campaign, previously in 2004 he directed fellow Australian Nicole Kidman, who played the role of a famous and beautiful actress swept away for an illicit adventure. Other film directors to create campaigns for Chanel include Ridley Scott, Luc Besson and Jean-Pierre Jeunet.

Gisele is chosen as the muse by the fashion house for her ‘natural and modern’ femininity. Bündchen, who is also the face of Chanel’s Les Beiges makeup line since 2013, has seen another busy year appearing in several advertising campaigns for various fashion houses. According to WWD, shooting took place in Sagaponack, NY, Wednesday and the filming is expected to continue in New York City. The new Chanel N°5 film will be unveiled at the end of this year.
