LOUIS VUITTON @ PFW LADIES

Nicolas Ghesquiere has marked his beginning in Louis Vuitton fashion house, in a very interesting manner, with his elegant and contemporary fall/winter line…

His precedent Marc Jacobs was famous for interesting scenes which followed his creations, like models on a carousel, in elevators, train inspired by the famous Orient Express. Ghesquiere had made the scene very minimalistic and simple, with no décor what so ever. The only distinctive element was the industrial blinds, used to allow natural light to fill the stage and shine it in a very meticulous way.

It looks like this is a new beginning of Louis Vuitton brand. The silhouettes of this season were accented with a high waist and A line skirts, in combination with long sleeves and tops with futuristic optical prints. With matte or glittering finishing details, this collection is really modern, and it was presented in shades of burgundy, mustard, brown and cerulean. For this season Louis Vuitton presents us with small and diminutive bags in the form of perfect accessories, shaped like small luggage, with the intriguing LV logo, which ties Ghesquiere’s novelties in an interesting manner with the famous and glorious history of this brand.
