Paths of fashion and art often intervene, as artists and fashion designers often collaborate in fantastic projects.
This time, the perfect combination of art and fashion is presented by Prada luxury fashion brand, which had decorated the windows of Bergdorf Goodman boutique in New York with high dose of art. This Fifth Avenue boutique now has windows inspired by “In the Heart of Multitude” artsy project by Prada, which was especially designed for their Spring/Summer 2014 fashion show, destined for ladies.
Last year, Prada luxury brand had hired muralists and illustrators, with the goal of working on the topic of femininity and feminine power, through a series of large murals set on the catwalk. This year, luxury Italian fashion brand had hired many artists again, in order to celebrate the power of women in a theme which represents an energetic and powerful woman of today in an interesting way. These imposing portraits, presented in the windows of a famous Manhattan boutique are made of the original art works of a muralist Miles “El Mac” MacGregor, created in Milan.
Passers-by can now enjoy these artworks, or own one of them, in the form of a Prada artsy luxury bag. With the artworks of six renewed artists presented on them, these bags take us back to the era of the liberation of women.
