Embelish your interior with marble

Italian brand Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti (FMG) has launched five marble-looking tiles designed to cover interior surfaces and furniture.

The tiles are part of the FMG MaxFine range of large format porcelain stone, designed for commercial and domestic interiors. Among the new designs are tiles Aosta Green Marble, Connemarble Irish and Verde Persia, which mimic a different type of natural green marble. The last two styles, called Calacatta Gray and Statuario Delicato, offer a more classic white marble finish.

"FMG, a leading manufacturer of large, high-quality porcelain tiles, continues the great challenge of creating ever new and original material effects by developing and printing the surfaces of large MaxFine tiles with the finest stones in nature," the company explained. "Large tiles can be placed on floors, used as wall cladding or applied as cladding on structural elements and furniture, creating customized and original solutions," they added.

The new MaxFine tiles are manufactured in Italy and are available in five different sizes, square or rectangular. They can be used alone to cover the interior surface or mixed and combined with different tiles from the FMG collection for a more decorative finish.

The first of the green tiles, Aosta Green Marble, is characterized by a dark green background that is covered with white patterns similar to veins that differ in thickness. This model pays homage to the green marble from the Aosta Valley in northwestern Italy and according to FMG is most suitable for work spaces, hotels, salons, restaurants, spas and wellness centers.

The Connemarble Irish tile is inspired by marble found in Ireland and features a lighter green background, decorated with clouds of brown and sinuous white lines.

Verde Persia, the last green tile with a marble effect, is lined with veins that range from shades of ivory to sandy tones, which gives a warmer look.

From the white tiles with a marble effect, Statuario Delicato is the lightest. FMG described it as "crystal", it has a uniform white background with long, curved lines of ice color. Calacatta Gray has a darker finish, woven from bold and gleaming gray veins.

All new MayFine tiles are resistant to abrasion and chemicals, are waterproof and bacteriostatic - meaning they prevent the growth of bacteria. Each tile is only six millimeters thick, including the largest tile measuring 300 centimeters by 150 centimeters.
