Alma Design at Salone del Mobile 2018
Shapes, colors, materials, new finish and precious upholsteries tell about Alma Design news.
Alma Design revisits some of its most iconic collections and reinterprets contemporary living, indoors and outdoors, with a new style and an increasingly distinct personality. Competence, passion and enthusiasm confirm the 'ingredients' of Alma Design creativity.
Gesto, Virna, Paloalto, Clint, X Collection, Marnie, Marlene, People, 2525 collections and the others, are the main characters of a careful restyling, in shapes and finishes, but maintain the ideal balance between aesthetic value, functionality and comfort, which have always characterized Alma Design’ production.
Alma Design furniture is created to be fit into the Ho.Re.Ca reality, with the aim of enhancing the spaces dedicated to hospitality and contemporary catering with the same care and attention with which you choose the complements to furnish the home environment.
Always strong in this identity, Alma Design's new proposals are one step closer to that dimension, with complements that for design and finish fit perfectly in living and dining home rooms, transforming them into more personal and authentic places.
The contemporary design of the 'revisitations' Alma Design is increasingly becoming more and more refined through the shapes and upholsteries, often handmade, with extraordinary craftsmanship, which talk about the mood of the new proposals.
Leathers, fabrics and velvets by Alessandro Bini, Kvadrat, Rubelli, Mario Sirtori, Effetigest and GS Tessuti Flukso, brands of excellence for the high quality of their threads and the precious leather, 'clothe' and 'embellish' the chairs and lounge solutions of Alma Design.
Alma Design renews its attention to color as a characterizing element of the product, able to define the personality and style of the space that welcome it.
Bright and brilliant colors alternate to the proposals of softer and more delicate shades, like the pastel tones or white, bright or satin, which is the leitmotif of the proposals dedicated to outdoor, the furnishings and accessories that evoke the same feelings of comfort of indoor solutions.
AGATA, design Mr Smith Studio
The distinctive elegance of the armchair Agata is expressed through the harmony of its forms and the refinement of the materials used, which make it perfect to furnish with style and glamour hotels, restaurants and waiting halls.
Ergonomic and comfortable, Agata is characterized by a curved ash wood body and a polyurethane stuffing that give value and comfort to the chair. The strenght of wood is carefully balanced by the thin
and tapered legs which give a sense of grace and visual lightness to the whole structure. The shell can be in exposed wood version, available in natural walnut, and grey, or in lacquered version, white, moka, and dove-grey. The upholstery can be in fabric, leather or ecoleather. Agata is also available with carter on the back.
GESTO, design Mario Mazzer
Gesto, the elegant and delicate chair designed by Mario Mazzer for Alma Design, is dressed in new finishes and delicate shades of color.
Comfortable, embracing and extraordinarily strong, Gesto is the ideal seat to enhance the living and dining spaces, its relaxed refinement also allows an ideal location in the bedroom.
Gesto is made of cold-molded polyurethane foam and the internal structure is entirely in steel. The enveloping backrest, which gives the seat maximum comfort and perfect ergonomic, falls harmoniously, divides and shapes the four legs, evoking the letter of the Greek alphabet 'lambda'. Worked with the craftsmanship and care that have always distinguished the creations of Alma Design, Gesto is available in several versions: it can be covered in genuine leather, in soft ecoleather or in various technical fabrics.
Alma Design reinterprets the seat expanding the range of color variations that "dress" it, from delicate pastel colors, in shades of green and blue, to bolder and more intense colors such as octane.

Marnie is in solid wood realized in rounded ash, with a particular side-cut working on the arms and the back, which creates a play of light and shadow on the entire structure. The resistance of wood is balanced by the sinuous and soft forms, that communicate at the same time stability and lightness. Marnie is stackable and available in exposed wood version in the colors natural ash and walnut, or in lacquered version, grey and white. The upholstery can be in fabric or ecoleather.
