Create numerous functional arrangements
Shelving systems like puzzles whose pieces become modules that differ in terms of shape, function and colour and that you can put together to suit the needs of your particular lifestyle...
Zalf - the brand belonging to Gruppo Euromobil specialised in living, bedroom, children’s and teenager’s bedroom and home office furniture based on eye-catching, contemporary design – has embraced this planning system by means of which it can offer extremely customised bookcases.
This system’s design is built one module at a time, starting from a 28-mm wide supporting structure to which the chosen modules are added and can be open or either shut by panel or glass doors. Although Link System has been on the market for many years, it is being constantly updated by Zalf to guarantee a perpetually trendy and new design.
Zalf bookcases can be planned with customers to meet their practical and aesthetic requirements. Furthermore, Link System interacts with other Zalf systems which – while preserving their own individual identity and independence - offer greater functional flexibility through arrangements that are ideal to even furnish and optimize less-exploited areas.
The following are three examples taken from an endless array of models that Zalf can create with Link System. In fact, this system can be customised to the utmost degree, offering almost tailor-made solutions to achieve the best and most convenient results in one’s own home:
Bookcase suitable for any space, even a passageway or corridor
This model combines various functions: as well as customising and rationalising corridors and passageways to various rooms, it mixes the storage function typical of a shelving unit with a desktop. Modules are arranged in a very creative way so that they can be used to stand books or anything else on. Interplaying volumes are also enhanced by choosing tone-on-tone colours for different widths, thicknesses and heights.
Double-sided bookcase/storage unit used as a partition
In this case the bookcase becomes a glass display unit that divides two rooms while ensuring they are still visible through the transparent glass which can even be used partially to create a “now you see it, now you don’t” effect.
Bookcase with a single and a double-sided section
This creative project makes the most of the areas that connect various rooms by putting the walls to good use and shaping surrounding spaces. The section of the bookcase against the wall is shut at the back but the unit then becomes open as it develops along its course, creating seductive aesthetic contrasts achieved through solids and voids.
