Mosaico+ White Luxury: elegance through white
Mosaico+ will once again be playing a leading role in this year’s Milan Design Week, in the White in the City project, with the striking installation “Marie Claire Maison White Luxury”, designed by Studio Marco Piva and on show in the prestige location of the Pinacoteca di Brera.
White in the City will involve a variety of locations on an itinerary that will express “whiteness” in all its many chromatic and symbolic aspects. Historically, white was a symbol of wellbeing, sustainability and serenity, not a starting -point but a goal, affecting all design disciplines from architecture to the visual arts and from product design to fashion.
The use of white in all its facets will involve intangible or tangible manifestations that pervadethe visitor ’s senses. These impressions will also be conveyed using mosaics, with the aid of the updated range of Mosaico+ 10x10 mm chip tiles and the Pulsar collection by Giugiaro Design.
The exhibition space will provide a striking backdrop for outstanding furniture and interiors, while forming a venue suitable for meetings and gala dinners to support the many display areas to be created inside the complex. It all springs from the idea of creating a very striking interior centred on the theme of luxury, viewed in relation to the colour white and all its infinite variations.
Studio Marco Piva therefore interprets the Fabric decorative module, with a personal variant inshades of white, rich in chromatic and material impressions that enhance its bright lightness and elegance, drops a shower of mosaic chips from the ceiling to create new effects with light, and defines the beat to which materials and movements vibrate, with a new decoration with the Crono_Pulsar collection in shades of white and grey. An exclusive installation, not to be missed.
