Integral House - villa inspired by math

Whoever said that math is interesting and fun probably was not especially popular in high school...

Yet, mathematics can impress us with its results and inspire people to create unique things that you cannot even imagine, just like this particular villa. Named Integral House, this oasis filled with light is located in Toronto, Canada, and you definitely need to know that it now seeks its new owner, who would be willing to pay 17.2 million dollars.

It is the work of its former owner, mathematician James Stewart, and it was designed by a talented team of company Shim-Sutcliffe Architects. Inspired by the wonderful beauty of numbers, this magnificent villa as its dominant motif has the geometry of the curve, which you can see on all the walls which have vertical blades of oak.

This unique project was something that had been worked on for nearly ten years, but when we look at the result, we realize that each day spent on the realization of this masterpiece was worth it. This amazing property is designed with a grand, high and wide central room in focus, with balcony and curved glass walls facing the nature that surrounds it. In front of and behind the villa, there are large number of spaces to enjoy social gatherings and organizing entertainment of any kind.

The interior of the villa has five different levels and a total of 1,800 m2 of living space. The new owners will enjoy the four bedrooms on the upper floors, as well as in the pool, interesting windows, gym, sauna and bathroom, which are located on the lower level.

Although the winters in Canada are often very sharp, in this villa you will not even feel it. It has a heated driveway, walkway and under floor heating throughout its interior, and there are three fireplaces. Is anyone in the mood for a cup of hot chocolate?
