Awesome Fiat 124 Spider

This car was waited for a long time, but the 124 Spider is finally here, a few hours before the premiere at the fair in Los Angeles ...

Fiat has explained very clearly that this is the first roadster in a long time (since the model Barchetta), and is based on the Mazda MX-5 / Miata platform. They argue that it is not merely a sign change, but it offers genuine Italian driving experience.

"There is no better way to celebrate 50 years of the Fiat 124, but to get back to this legendary roadster, linking the old style with modern performance and technology," said Olivier Francois, Director of the FIAT brand.

It has the same proportions as his brother from Japan, which was expected. The body was completely redesigned and there are no headlamps as the MX-5, the grid is different, and the last part brings a unique light.

On the other hand, the interior is almost unchanged compared to the MX-5, from design Able to instrument clusters and climate control. The Fiat logo on the steering wheel is pretty much the only change.

The biggest difference lies under the hood. 1.5 and 1.8 atmospheric engines from Mazda have been replaced by 500 Abarth 1.4 with 160 hp and 241Nm of torque obertnog that drives the rear wheels via a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

124 will be available in two versions: Classic and Lusso. Customers will be able to choose one of six exterior colors, such as Rosso Passione, Gelato Bianco (White Clear Coat), Nero Cinema (Jet Black Metallic), Grigio Argento (Gray Metallic), Grigio Fashion (Dark Gray Metallic) and Bronzo Magnetico (Bronze Metallic), and there is a special Bianco Perla (Crystal White Pearl), which is only in the Lusso version.

The first 124 copies of this model will be offered in the Prima Edizione Lusso limited.
