Now, this Italian brand presents its official debut of this model, called Maserati Levante. This is the first SUV created by the brand and its beautiful lines and features were presented at the Geneva Motor Show. Otherwise, the production of this car has already started in Chrysler Automobiles Fiat Mirafiori factory.
Sales in Europe will begin in a few days, while the rest of the world will have a little patience. This luxury midsize crossover is still in line with the original Kubang proposal, with the dramatic front end, the large grille and aggressive headlights. Sporty details escort the fluid lines and checkered tailpipes.
The interior of this car is for now still a secret. However, this little hint that we can look reveals the familiar design, similar to the Ghibli model. Thus, leather is covering most of the surface, while the large screen is in the central part of the console infotainment system.
Italians did not say much on its technical specifications, but information leaked can confirm previous rumors - it runs the same engine range as the Ghibli sedan, including two 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engine for Levante 350 and 430 versions, as well as the 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine.
With this in mind, Levante 350 will go from zero to one hundred in 6.3 seconds, while the maximum speed will be 243 kilometers per hour. Levante 450 accelerates from zero to one hundred in 5.2 seconds with a top speed of 264 kilometers per hour. The diesel version is a little slower - from zero to one hundred accelerates in 6.9 seconds, with a top speed of 230 kilometers per hour.
