Rolls Royce motor cars debuts in Belgrade

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will make its debut at the Belgrade Motor Show later this month, the first time the world’s leading manufacturer of super luxury cars will exhibit at the most important automotive event in Serbia.

“We are delighted to present - on the occasion of our debut - Ghost Black Badge at the Belgrade Motor Show,” said Peter Schoppmann, Regional Director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. He continued, “Our presence underpins the growing importance of the Central and Eastern European region for Rolls-Royce and we foresee further growth in coming years.”

The ultimate business limousine, Ghost is designed as a vision of simplicity, a Rolls-Royce that drives and rides in peerless fashion. Ghost Black Badge delivers an authentic transformation both in appearance and engineering. As a permanent Bespoke series, Wraith and Ghost are available as Black Badge models where Rolls-Royce has re-interpreted the very icon of its brand to access a darker side of its character.

Schoppmann added, “Black Badge is an attitude to life, an aspect of the Rolls-Royce brand that appeals to those people who are driven by a restless spirit. They work hard and play hard.”

Belgrade-born designer, Pavle Trpinac will make a special appearance at the press day and first public day of the Belgrade Motor Show. Trpinac was a significant member of the design team that created Ghost Black Badge and previously Wraith. He commented, “It is a dream come true to be part of the Belgrade motor show as a representative of the ultimate symbol of success - the very motor show that I first visited as a child with my father.”

In January, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announced its second highest ever annual sales result in the marque’s 113-year history, with global sales in 2016 up 6% on 2015 results. Sales were driven by strong demand for the entire portfolio and the additional momentum of the new convertible Dawn, the most seductive Rolls-Royce. A total of 4,011 cars were delivered to customers in more than 50 countries, affirming the brand’s strength and resilience in a year of challenging market conditions for luxury goods worldwide. 2016 also saw the last Phantom VII being manufactured, the new generation of the Rolls-Royce flagship will be launched later this year.

The Rolls-Royce Motor Cars stand at the Belgrade Motor Show will be in hall 2A, as a special guest of Delta Motors.
