HERMES - THE ART OF WANDERING

Hermes is a popular fashion brand, and we all know ... this time they represent something amazing...

It is an art exhibition Wanderland, which opened in the Saatchi Gallery in London. It will be open until May 2, and was created by Bruno Gaudischon. It is dedicated to the art of wandering through the streets and absorbing the details of daily life - Flanerie.

Essentially French, Flanerie is a skill and art of discovering the unexpected in everyday activities. Hermes had in need of homage to this activity transformed the upstairs galleries in a series of incredible settings, divided into 11 rooms. Visitors of the exhibition can step into the world of dreams and joy - an incredible fantasy by designer Hubert le Gala, which for a background has Parisian-inspired landscapes. 11 rooms in this exhibition present a series of installations in different media created by different artists.

Café dedicated to the lost objects contains small tables with pocket watches and small cans of paint, which after a closer look have film screens in the size of a postage stamp. Box with tools and glass bottle on a table radiate somewhat psychedelic colors while a dancing woman can be seen at the bottom of a cup of coffee.

Pierre-Alexis Dumas, artistic director of the acclaimed fashion brand, said that he wanted this exhibition to present the embodiment of wandering. He wanted people to visit this exhibition and maybe forget about reality, look at their city with new eyes. As he says, one must never lose the ability to daydream, wandering, relax and to surprise.

After London, the exhibition Wanderland will be in September in Paris, in Turin in December in China next year.
