Bazz Dazzeld Holiday window displays in Barneys New York are now officially presented...
A few days ago their official presentation occurred, which was attended by many famous guests. Meteorologists have promised snow in the evening of the first display of these windows, but the visitors were greeted by rain, which did not manage to spoil the festive mood of the event.
Windows that are the work of Oscar winning Baz Lurhman and his wife, who was also the winner of this prestigious award for her magnificent costumes, were glamorously presented at the opening ceremony that can only be described as the epitome of elegance and prestige. This evening show began with ice scatters, elves and orchestra who performed Madonna's song Holiday in the style of opera. Two queens, Solar and Lunar, joined the performance of songs from the balconies which are located on the second floor.
Four windows in Barney’s department store, which are facing Madison Avenue, received special elements of decor, and the names that adorn them this year. Their names are Freedom, Beauty, Truth and Love, each of which is represented by a mixture of traditional and modern creations. On the window that bears the name of Freedom, we can see the igloo and ice rink, where the main decoration graceful skater. Second window display named Beauty is filled with sculptures that are the work of Antonio Howe.
The third window is decorated by a really modern creation. Here we see a large steam-punk talking owl, which is made from laser-cut mechanical parts, and it is situated in a large nest that looks very interesting.
The fourth window display is dedicated to love. It is filled with colorful magic mushrooms inhabited by an enchanting elf that performs modern dance moves, and even break dancing. Made of polychrome, mushrooms are quite large and noticeable, and they certainly attracted a lot of attention of curious passers-by.
Each window has its own special music that further embellishes it, which was created by a cappella group Pentatonix. Solar and Lunar Queen that adorn the balcony located on the second floor have scheduled performances for the weekend, when you can enjoy all the delights of a holiday miracle.
