SUNREEF 80 CARBON LINE SUPERYACHT

The first luxury catamaran in Sunreef Yachts’ new 80 Carbon Line has been recently launched on water, just ahead of its world premiere that should take place at the Cannes Boat Show in September.

The 80 Levante, as it was called, is made from an advanced composite mix between vinylester, PVC foam and carbon/glass fiber and weights nearly 45 tonnes.

The 80 feet boat is 38 ft wide at its widest point and includes a carbon mast and boom, Kevlar standing rigging and a 280 sq m gennaker sail made from Cuben Fiber. The main sail and genoa sail are made of Vectran. The total sail area of the boat is 340 sq m which should take this superyacht to speeds of over 20 knots.

In case you want more than that, the vessel also has two 270 HP Yanmar diesel engines and two main 780 L fuel tanks for wind-free propulsion. The yacht has room for nine guests and four crew members, with a guest cabin and a bathroom plus four crew cabins on the portside hull and another guest cabin and a children’s cabin, both with en suites, on the starboard hull.

The master suite is located on the main deck, featuring a dressing room and a bathroom. On the main deck as well you can find the navigation station, dining area and lounge zone. There are also sunbathing pads and storage area next to the cockpit and flybridge.

The price for a superyacht from the Sunreef 80 Carbon Line is €5.5 million or around US$7.3 million at today’s currency exchange rates.
