Founded in 1925, by Eduardo and Adele Fendi in Rome, Fendi brand is famous for its exquisite creations of fur, especially fur accessories. After they had their headquarters moved to the Palazzo della Civilta Italiana in Rome and renovated the ornate Trevi fountain from the 18th century, they moved their attention to the renovation of Palazzo Fendi.

As a design by architect Marko Constantius, each of the Seven bedroom apartments in this hotel is unique. The walls of the hotel are decorated with refined and dramatic red Lepanto marble. Other dramatic elements of this hotel include Fendi Casa furniture, large glass-and-bronze elevator, Dimore Studio lighting and varnished vintage chairs.

While the mounted Fendi fur panel stands above each bed, Dimore Studio custom screens and armchairs, upholstered with mink, adorn every wardrobe. Japanese award-winning restaurant Zuma will welcome you in its two story interior, which offers stunning views of the Roman Via Condotti.

Untitled work by Italian artist Nunsija can be seen in the palace, while the artwork of Josef Albers hangs above Mark Zanus chairs which were designed in 1951. Black-and-white photos of Roman fountains, which are the work of Karl Lagerfeld, are also presented.

Renovation of Palazzo Fendi included the transformation of the third floor in a private lounge, which is used for VIP clients, called Palazzo Prive. Seating room in Palazzo Prive apartment has Bruno Mathsson chair and club chairs, which are the work of Axel Vervoordt. It is separated from the dining area by a personalized Dimore Studio lacquered metal and glass shelf for books, which was designed in collaboration with Fendi brand for Design Miami 2014.
