With oriental colors, as part of a limited edition of 20 issues, Christophe Claret Layla timer, looks like it was designed for those of us which are endlessly romantic souls. The design which Swiss manufacturer created was again superb, elegant and romantic, meant for ladies, and it also has an ingenious mechanism. By simply pressing a button, at the position of two o’clock, the watch gets a new life, while another pressure drives mechanism of the flower, which in detail reflects the decline of the flower petals.
The end result of the work of the whole mechanism is random response written in calligraphic letters, at the position of eight o’clock: Un peu (few), beaucoup (lot), passionnément (passionately), a la folie (crazy), pas du tout (none). The direction of the Arabic inscriptions form the right to the left presented a real challenge for the talented team of the company, but they mastered it successfully.

Its shimmering reflections, natural pink mother-of-pearl dial is a true definition of femininity, which follows the golden body with details of emeralds, while details of diamonds create an interesting play of light around the base.
The display of this watch reveals the self-winding rotor, giving us insight into the carousel of color in the form of a flower, which immediately reminds us to love. When you hear the word Layla, you probably think about the eponymous song of Eric Clapton, and should therefore know that this watch wasn’t named like that for no reason.
