Their unique blend of artistic and technical knowledge has created several icons of watchmaking over the years, and their new release, Midnight Nuit Lumineuse is the only timer which time displaying takes for granted.
This watch represents a retrograde dial, with a hand which is teetering on the stretch from six to twelve o’clock. Regarding design, this watch clearly exudes a theme of night sky with the dial of aventurine that reflects the theme of the sky. On the dial, the masters of this watchmaking house depicted a map with various star constellations, with the help of miniature graphics and diamonds.
Alluring detail that can be seen on the dial is obviously Monoceros the Unicorn, which was created with the help of six diamonds set within the drawings on position four o’clock. Besides being the largest and most detailed on the dial, Monoceros is the main motif of this watch. If you press the button in position for eight o’clock, the Unicorn comes alive, as its six diamonds obtain a unique glow with the help of LED diodes.
The electricity that powers the diodes does not come from the battery, but from the light module located within an hour, and that relies on piezoelectricity, generated by certain materials under the influence of mechanics. In this case, the lever in the form of a ceramic turbine blade acts at a push of a button, when it begins to vibrate and thus generates electricity for the LEDs for about four seconds.

The type and form of precious stone will definitely affect the luster and color of light. Specification rounds on the other hand, will determine the strength and number of LEDs used.
