This Pikachu watch will be produced in just 20 pieces, each of them will cost 20.000 dollars. This is actually a really detailed version of their Moon Invader model, with Pikachu details. Its case is made of titanium and it has a diameter od 46 mm, its waterproof and it has a yellow strap made of vulcanized rubber, with fabric and leather options available.
The baseplate of the dial, which was treated with a black DLC, contains a large enameled hand painted Pikachu, who is smiling next to satin, sand blasted 3D designed lightning bolts, which are also hand painted in yellow.
This watch contains RJ001-A self-winding mechanism, with PVD treated crown, 23 jewels and energy reserve of 42 hours.
By the way, this isn’t the first time that Romain Jerome portrayed fictive characters on its luxury watches. Last November, they have presented a top notch model featuring Super Mario, in order to celebrate 30 years of Nintendo.
Two months before that, they’ve presented Limited Edition Devon Star Wars model, which was inspired by Darth Vader. That model had the price of almost 30.000 dollars.
About their new edition, they’ve said: “This collection is the perfect combination of the DNA of both brands – Pokemon star is combined with Romain Jerome star”.
