It has CHRONOMATIC Calibre 11 movement, the first automatic chronograph mechanism offered in the history of watches.

This watch is adorned wrists of big names like Joe Sifert, the first runner who was wearing a Tag Heuer watch. Later, in 1971, Monaco is worn by legendary actor Steve McQueen who insisted that he carries his new timepiece  on the set of his new film.

The mechanism is located in the housing size 39 millimeters, with a crown on the left. The legendary, petroleum blue, still boasts a large dial that has a window for a date with the index for 6 hours. Of course, the watch is water-resistant and can handle up to a depth of 100 m.
