Held for the first time in 2016, The Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous gathers some of the biggest names from the world of superyachts in one place. It's the perfect opportunity for yacht owners and yachting brands, as well as yachting aficionados, to meet with their peers, lovers of a prestigious sport, luxury and luxurious travels in one of the most beautiful destinations of our world – Thailand, Phuket, on the shores of the Andaman Sea.
The possibilities of this part of the Pacific are vast and insufficiently explored, and because of that, the organisers of The Kata Rocks Superyachts Rendezvous are trying to change the status of this magnificent region and establish a hot spot yachting destination.
The Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous gathers all the privileged people, who enjoy together in spectacular surroundings of the yachting world and thrills which luxury yachting promises. This event is meant for presenting yachting giants, longer than 24 meters, in a fantastic location. Guests who are already existing owners of Kata Rocks villas, owners of superyachts, industry professionals from the world of shipbuilding and people from luxury travel, lifestyle and yachting media are invited from a curated list. Glamorous cocktails, luxurious evening parties and all other events are held in the company of selected guests which for a common denominator have wealth, style, prestige and significant social status.
This event takes place under the auspice of Infinite Luxury, which designed the luxurious resort, Kata Rocks, where the event itself is held, settled in paradise surroundings, bordered with two beaches – Kata and Kata Noi. Kata Rocks, which is tucked in untouched nature, is the perfect fusion of resort and a private villa. The appearance of the resort itself is especially attractive since its architectural design is in fact inspired by a superyacht.
This event is fantastically covered by the media, which have the ideal chance to present brand's best novelties to the luxury lifestyle world. Numerous media have spoken about the last year’s lavish edition, and thanks to that, Kata Rocks has become a well-known destination on the maps of all of those who seek luxurious travel experiences and destinations. Dutch brand Feadship, which has been constructing yachts since 1849, returns to the upcoming KRSR, this time in the role of co-sponsor and host of an exclusive dinner, held for invited superyacht owners. Feadship is a leader in the field of made-to-measure custom yachts, in terms of craftsmanship, design, engineering and construction. Benetti, an Italian brand which creates luxurious motor yachts with a 144 year-long tradition, will as well participate in the upcoming KRSR where they will host a special dinner event in one of Kata Rocks' four-bedroom penthouse villa's – for Benetti and VistaJet owners. If you by chance mention Benetti to any luxury yacht connoisseur, they will tell you that Benetti is a synonym for the finest construction and refined Italian design.
The 2017 KRSR program brings up many other leading names in the industry, like: Burgess, Azimut Yachts, Camper & Nicholsons Hemisphere Monaco, Northrop and Johnson, Bristol Charter, Benetti, Princess Yachts, 77 Design, Lee Marine, Sea-Doo, Seal Superyachts, Boat in The Bay, and The Surin Phuket, who will, like last year, host a barbecue on the beach.
On the first day of the KRSR, industry professionals, media and selected guests are invited on board on yachts so that they can feel the unique sensation of racing, within Phuket Cup regatta, Superyacht experience day. Between 18 and 22 h during the first day, a cocktail party will feature on one of the events largest Superyacht's - yet to be named - to ceremoniously open this unique event.
On the second day, guests are treated to a lavish Saturday brunch on one of Phuket's hidden gems a private beach location, Pansea beach, in collaboration with The Surin Phuket. Along with Vodka & Caviar tasting in Kata Rocks' wine cellar, Big Boys Toys, an event which allows guests to try and experience some of the latest toys from the world of jet-ski's and marine toys, presented by Sea-Doo company, which is famous for its modern designs and products.
Another event which will be held for crème de la crème yachting aficionados and luxurious yacht owners is the Feadship Owner’s Dinner, which will occur in the resorts most luxurious penthouse, the Four Bedroom Sky Pool Villa. While enjoying a delicious and exclusive dinner event, chosen guests will have the chance to observe the endless horizon from the spectacular terraces which characterise every villa of this resort.
