YACHT SHAPED HOUSE – Sydney

Cascade structure in Sydney, is inspired by the shape of a yacht in motion...

"Benelong Crescent Apartments" is a project that an Australian studio "Luigi Rosselli Architects" has recently completed. The building is located in Bellevue Hill, in Sydney's eastern suburbs. Architects say they were inspired by the famous Erich Mendelsohn’s Einstein Tower from the 1920’s.

The structure cascades down the hill to follow the contours and the curved terraced balconies are shaped by the irregular boundaries of the site, rounded off by the prevailing winds. Living areas are open to the terrace, extending the interior towards the magnificent panoramic views. The upper end of the building is located in a quiet street, which is surrounded by large trees. Each apartment is specifically designed, which enabled forming different unique environments...

Living in this house offers an incredible feeling, like you're constantly on the move... sailing...
