Nudging the banks of the Danube, this new hotel is, along with two restaurants and 30 upscale shops, part of a new architectural complex called Stilwerk. This 18-storey building was inaugurated last December 14. Designed by Jean Nouvel, who sought to unify the exterior and interior architecture of the building, it aims to become a “mecca” for tourism and a magnet for businesses and ultra-deluxe shopping destination.
Undoubtedly, the centrepiece of the project and the most impressive area is the viewpoint-restaurant Le Loft located on the top floor, with wonderful views of the Austrian capital. The famous chef, Antoine Westermann, who won three Michelin stars, has made a menu with French cuisine, using the best ingredients that Austria has to offer. The Sofitel hotel Stephansdom in Vienna, have transformed conviviality and comfort into an art form.
