At first visual impact, you might think it was built by smurfs, fairies, hobbits, gnomes or some other mythical creature.
The Montaña Mágica Lodge was actually built by local craftsmen from the surrounding communities and Puerto Fuy Neltume, or small wood-based mountain villages. This magical and surreal landscape became quickly a national treasure that increase the amount of visitors each year.
The Montaña Mágica Lodge is ridiculous and sublime place all at the same time. Straight out of a fairy tale, the structure is located in the Huilo-Huilo Biological Reserve and provides 13 rooms inside its mountain-shaped space. The visitors can gain access to this uncommon hotel though a wooden suspension bridge that takes them to the upper floors. As a glimpse of creation, the designers added an up geyser that shoots water out of the top and down the side of the mountain. The water in these parts is of high purity and from the idea to show the energy and life of this element, the project develops a mountain, from which comes this life and contains the magic forest, discovered in each of its details. Covered in rainforest moss and vines, this crafted volcano it is a once in a lifetime experience that makes you forget you’re carrying technology with you and makes you relax like there is no tomorrow.
