Meissen Couture partners with Lifeline New York, joining forces with their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia, in raising funds for children in need.
On Thursday October 23rd, Lifeline New York held their annual luncheon hosted by Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia at the renowned Le Cirque to raise funds for children and medical supplies in Serbia.
Lifeline New York's Board President, David Hryck served as the luncheons emcee, and introduced Crown Prince Alexander who welcomed guests including Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia, Princess Katherine's daughter Alison Andrews, Cheri Kaufman, Susan Gutfreund, Kyle Wool, Dragana Djuknic, and expressed his gratitude for his wife's "intimate involvement" with the foundation before the lunch was served.
Guests were treated to an extraordinary performance by Serbian opera star, the baritone, Mr. Željko Lučić performing a Verdi aria accompanied by Mr. Djordje Nesic on piano. Following the lunch, Princess Katherine spoke about how "it is not the title that makes a person, but the time they take to make a difference."
The Silent Auction included exclusive 2015 Tony Awards tickets, tennis balls signed by champion Novak Djokovic, while Meissen Porcelain Jewelry, was among the auction highlights.
Meissen Couture’s Larry Martino, working closely with Cris Egger and Alex Dordevic of DeGorsi Luxury consulting, made significant effort for this partnership coming to fruition.
