Many luxury yacht building companies take part in this Show, so they can present us with their latest achievements. Many designers are also guests of this amazing Show presenting us with their innovative manners of interior designing and decorating. This Yacht Show is completely dedicated to superyachts for sale which are at least 25 meters long. Monaco Yacht Show is the longest running traditional display of superyachts and megayachts in Europe.
A selection of 105 superyacht and megayacht dropped anchor this September in Monaco, at Hercules Port, making this show a unique opportunity for yacht lovers to enjoy new designs of magnificent yachts. Traditionally, Monaco Yacht Show joined hands with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation for encouraging use of wood from sustainable forest in yacht construction instead of unsustainable sources and materials. Only Watch charity which we have already mentioned a few times took place at this show, and during this event 33 one off a kind luxury watches made by the most prestigious watchmakers in the business were presented and have gone under the hammer. During these four days, yachting elite came together, enjoyed nearby restaurants and clubs, stayed at luxury hotels and enjoyed the views of new and upcoming amazing yacht designs.
It’s not all about yachts at Monaco Yacht Show, about 80 events took place during it were organized, but the presentation of new luxury and expensive yachts is the most important part of the show.
Some of the yachts presented during the show were new version of Tankoa mega yacht C102, which had its world premiere during the MYS as a yacht which was extensively customized for the needs of its owner, new 10,5m Hull 417-7 custom yacht tender by Hodgdon Yachts had its successful debit etc. Many yachts got great rewards for outstanding designs and performances, for example famous Nirvana Megayacht got “Best of the Best” award, Italian Marina di Loano received the Certificate of Excellence Plaque, the striking GALACTICA STAR superyacht received multiple prestigious awards, as proudly announced by her builder, Heesen Yachts. Luxury mega yacht Galactica Star is the first of a new class of motor yachts; her revolutionary Fast Displacement all aluminum hull allows her to reduce her environmental impact by 30 per cent while still achieving a maximum speed of 28,8 knots – exceptional for a 65m yacht.
All in all, this luxury event is a true paradise for luxury yacht lovers, where they can enjoy amazing yachts, old ones and new innovative designs, nice weather and many yachting related events.
