This palace, which dates back from the 18th century, was the perfect ambiance for presenting their new line, which now includes lighting, as a really important element.
“This is just a small collection, but it perfectly states Hermes” said Helene Dubrule, director of Hermes brand during the presentation of this collection during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan. “This collection mixes innovation and high technology with sophisticated production. Designers, who have created this, really identified themselves with the world of Hermes brand.”
Hermes presented three LED lighting collections, and even though they all have really distinctive forms, they have perfectly displayed the DNA of Hermes brand, with their sophisticated materials and perfectly manufactured structures.
For this collection, which they have done in collaboration with the architect Michele de Lucchi, they needed three years. “Each piece from this collection presents top notch elements of engineering and it is really carefully studied”, said de Lucci of his six piece collection. “Lamp designs are really exciting. They mix with many other design themes, which go from furniture to art sculptures.”
