Samsung had teamed up with French crystal maker Swarovski to create a special accessories collection named “Swarovski for Samsung”, exclusively for their latest flagship phone Galaxy S5, and for the wearable gadget Gear Fit.
Samsung is trying to trademark itself as a company with enthusiasm for fashion, as well as for technology to attract and keep younger generations in their fold.
The Swarovski for Samsung collection comprises of crystal-encrusted Galaxy S5 cases and charms for Gear Fits. Back of the cases are covered in Swarovski Crystal Fine Rocks, which are applied into the cover using a patented application process, while two crystal effects are merged into one motif as an extra design feature. The cases are available in Vibrant Blue and Mystic Black.
Gear Fit charms collection is offered in a variety of colors and styles that can be effortlessly mixed and matched. Styles include bars and dangles. Bars come in colors brown, golden shadow and crystal while dangle shapes include heart, star, lips and skull.
