The new TAG Heuer Meridiist Infinite has a sapphire screen, coated with titanium grade 5 with carbon fiber inserts. Its main characteristic is the fact that it boasts a hybrid capacity which gives it the option of charging under specific kinds of natural and artificial sorts of light, even when the battery is completely empty.

Behind the sapphire screen a lens substrate is located with electrical conductors, while behind that is another layer of fully transparent photovoltaic cells. After that layer, the LCD screen is settled, while the whole system functions invisibly and automatically.
