Last year, Harrods‘ Christmas windows showed Disney Princess dresses collection.
Now, this limited edition dresses designed by an elite team of 10 womenswear goes at auction by Christie’s, as part of its annual Vintage Couture sale, and will raise money for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. Renowned designers including Oscar de la Renta, Versace and Elie Saab have created their visions of the iconic fairytale dresses. This stunning gowns are paying tribute to the stories ofAriel, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Snow White and Tiana. All of them have adorned iconic Knightsbridge store’s windows last Christmas.
Beside the dresses, the auction will feature a selection of couture pieces by top fashion houses, Chanel, Schiaparelli, Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Dior, as well as a variety of luxury handbags by Hermes.
