The historic Jardin des Tuileries in Paris once again became a stage for haute couture during the presentation of the Dior Fall/Winter 2026–2027 collection.
Originally envisioned as a dream garden by Catherine de’ Medici, and later transformed into a setting for the grand spectacles of Louis XIV, the space today provides a perfect backdrop for Dior’s contemporary interpretation of elegance and avant-garde fashion.
The gardens’ central promenade, the Grande Allée, guided guests through a scenography that evoked the long tradition of Parisian performance culture. Along this axis unfolded a fashion narrative marked by powerful silhouettes: sculptural jackets, dramatic gowns, and fluid forms that simultaneously referenced historical opulence and the modern language of haute couture.
Models walked alongside water installations and artificial water lilies, creating an atmosphere that belonged equally to nature and theatrical staging.
One of the most striking moments of the show took place around Le Bassin Octogonal, where artificial water lilies blurred the line between natural landscape and artistic set design. Sculptural floral elements followed the runway and established a visual harmony across the space.
This scenographic approach reflects the recognizable aesthetic of Dior, where craftsmanship and the spectacle of fashion performance merge into a single immersive experience.
The show introduced bold color contrasts and rich textures. Vibrant fabrics, precisely tailored silhouettes, and delicate decorative details evoked the poetic atmosphere of Charles Baudelaire and his poem À une passante, where fleeting encounters transform into dramatic moments within the rhythm of Parisian life.

The Dior FW 2026–2027 collection continues the house’s exploration of the relationship between heritage and innovation.
