Ferragamo brings the golden age of Hollywood back to life in its new Pre-Fall 2025 campaign, unveiling the first chapter of a fashion story titled L’Appuntamento (The Appointment).

The luxury house founded by Salvatore Ferragamo — once famously known as the "shoemaker to the stars" — pays tribute to its storied legacy through an artful short film brimming with emotional and visual allure.

Directed by acclaimed Italian filmmaker Alice Rohrwacher, known for her deeply authentic style, the campaign was shot at the legendary Cinecittà Studios in Rome — adding cinematic weight to this homage to classic film. In the leading role is model Angelina Kendall, embodying a silver screen diva preparing for her scene: a makeup artist dabs her face, a shoemaker polishes her heels, and an assistant hands her a handbag as the cameras begin to roll.

The spotlight naturally falls on the Gancini slingback heels in deep plum, a modern take on Ferragamo’s signature — timeless, feminine, and undeniably refined.

Creative Director Maximilian Davis shared that he aimed for the campaign to capture a "very Italian sensibility" while preserving the glamour of old Hollywood. He praised Rohrwacher’s ability to blend humor, nostalgia, and modern style into a visual narrative that feels like cinematic art in every frame.

By merging fashion and film, Ferragamo once again proves it knows how to make the past feel present — reaffirming that true luxury lies not only in craftsmanship but in timeless storytelling.
