Jil Sander showed an excellent collection of slick menswear at Milan Fashion Week over the weekend, with slightly oversized silhouettes, glossy leathers and bold colors adding a futuristic feel to the minimalist collection. Floral prints made appearances as well, adding just a hint of Spring/Summer 2014′s ubiquitous retro influence.

Jil Sander‘s entry for this year’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection sees a smartwear collection of avant-garde cuts displayed through stark colorways. Minimalism is the most obvious aspect, with most looks offering a clean selection of upper and outerwear coupled with pairing bottoms. A few notable pieces include the laminated leather coats, the all-over print pieces and color-blocked jackets that sit refreshingly among the easy palette of monochromatic designs.
