The new, gender-inclusive collection is the result of the fashion brand's collaboration with British designer Richard Quinn. The assortment represents references of various radical cultural archetypes, as well as aesthetic expressions. Fall style concepts resulted in a collection featuring fashion-forward silhouettes and reworked versions of preppy looks in the limelight.
Richard Quinn lends his unique style codes to Tommy Hilfiger fall collection. Strong statement graphics are combined with bold shapes and prints. The new TH Monogram is in perfect communication with Quinn's daisy work designs, covering fitted jackets, sports backpacks and more. This combination reflects the spirit of innovation that Tommy Hilfiger embodies.
Several Tommy Hilfiger American classics, from varsity jackets to five-pocket pants to bomber jackets, have been given a modern twist to reflect a contemporary aesthetic. The exciting capsule collection created as a result of the collaboration between Tommy Hilfiger and Richard Quinn reflects modern interpretations of several archetypes, such as punk, adventurous, cheerleading and sports.
"I've always been inspired by working with creatives who push the boundaries, and Richard is certainly no exception," said Tommy Hilfiger. "We brought together two different aesthetics to create a rebellious approach to modern preppy style. It is something unexpected and optimistic, which reflects the playful spirit at the heart of both our brands", he added.
"Tommy and I share the same obsession with prints and textiles, so we were naturally happy to balance and combine our visions in this collaboration," explains Quinn. "It was really inspiring to look into his archives and find iconic pieces, which then became the canvas for our joint works. We tried to be dramatic and vibrant with every detail, in search of progress, and I can freely say that the end result does not disappoint at all", he added.
