If your dream wedding consists of you spontaneously saying "I do" on a beach (potentially in the ocean), then Mara Hoffman may have the dress—or bridal swimsuit—for you.
"She could be anyone from a real-deal flower child to a more classically chic bride," Hoffman told us of the ideal woman who would wear her new the Devotional Collection. "Ultimately she is someone who connects to the feeling and spirit of the collection."
While Hoffman has designed big-day dresses for her friends, like designer Pamela Love, this is the first time she has officially launched a bridal line. "I wanted to be able to offer my customers a wedding dress option without custom making each and every one," she explained. "Because of the requests from customers and friends, we began researching the market and saw that we could definitely fill a missing niche for ready-to-wear, affordable, and uniquely beautiful bohemian dresses." And bohemian and affordable they are: The styles are all named after Greek, Roman, and Hindu goddesses, a nod to Hoffman's admiration for mythology, and the designs incorporate eye-catching embroidery, geometric cut-outs, and chiffon layers.
