Corrado Lopresto wins at Vila dEste

Corrado Lopresto, star of the 2013 edition of the  24 hours Elegance, confirms its leading position as one of the most important classic car collectors in the world.

Just a few days ago , at the  Concours d’Elegance Villa d’Este, he has won coveted Best of Show prize with his unique Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS Aprile from 193.  This rare example of automotive art captured the attention of the renowned jury with its immaculate restoration and its one of a kind shape, that in 1931 draw sighs, no doubt, wherever it went.  The original body  has been created by famed Zagato, but in1938 it underwent transformation by the Aprile coach builders of Savona, under the design of Mario Revelli de Beaumont

Thanx to Uniqa insurance company, the ambassador of the  24 hours of Elegance, madame Cris Eger,  had the unique opportunity to introduce our event to other important collectors who gathered on the shores of beautiful lake Como. The next meeting is set for  the coming edition of the 24 hours of Elegance, that will take place as of September 5 - 7 at the royal Place and Grand Casino Belgrade. At that time Belgrade will be hosting some of the most beautiful models of the famed  Carozzeria Touring Superleggera. Precisely those prestigious car will participate at the Tour Historique  celebrating 75the anniversary of the famed Belgrade Grand Prix, that put our capital on the formula racing map in 1939.
