Salon of Excellence as a global platform for the promotion of the highest level of craftsmanship in the creation of clothing and other items exclusively by hand (handmade/fatto a mano), selected Belgrade for its new spring edition under the auspices of the Italian Embassy in Belgrade and as a part of Italian Fashion in Serbia initiative.
The Belgrade event featured some of the most famous artisanal luxury brands n the world and important speakers from Venice, Milan, Naples and Turin. Special presentation by renowned art historian focusing jewelry Paola Stroppiana was one of highlights along with exclusive exhibition of th finest bespoke masterpieces by esteemed venetian master tailor Franco Puppato. Among highlights where special spotlight on bespoke shirt-making by milanese master Alessandro Siniscalchi and perfect accessories line by ever expanding artisanal universe of Viola Milano. The audience enjoyed an olfactory treat hosted by The Perfume Atelier,, presenting handmade scents Belgrade 011 and Belgrade Victor, concocted by London based perfumer, Zaga Colovic. Additional cosmopolitan vibe to the event gave company of Ignatious Joseph, who delivered amusing and to the point key note speech.
