Only restaurant in Rome that has 3 Michelin stars and winner of „Five Star Diamond Award“. It has wine cellar with over 53,000 bottles some dated from 1888. It offers menu that has, among other things, 29 waters in it, one of them „Fillico“– jewel of mineral waters in bottle decorated with Swarovski crystals.
Beside best ingredients of Mediterranean cuisine, „La Pergola“ is all about style and ambient. On table you will find finest cutlery and around you are art treasures, paintings, rare tapestries, bronze candle holders from 18th century, imperial furniture and beautiful collection of handmade glass „Emile Gallé“. Central part of the room is decorated by Calderon vase from 17th century, with daily changed flower composition.
Kitchen is managed by Heinz Beck – some would call him most important German in Italy after the Pope. Winner of many awards and recognitions during long and prestigious career.
