DANS BOIS CRETE - ASTONISHING VILLA

The astonishing residence comprises a total of 6 bedrooms suites, seven bathrooms, three half bathrooms, wine room, state of the art cinema room and grand entertaining space, a genuine one off in the area.

The mansion was actually transformed from a derelict Edwardian estate to the staggering building you’re seeing in the photos between 2007 and 2008 by its current owners. Every little bit of the 14,139-square-foot interior space has been completely refurbished and restored.

They’ve made use of all sorts of colors, materials, design principles and lighting, to shape up a unique manor. For example, the front door handle was imported from Lithuania. Acclaimed designer Harold Leidner had taken care of the surrounding landscapes, converting them into aesthetical beauties in deep privacy.

In terms of endowments, Dans Bois Crete includes Baccarat chandeliers and Venetian plaster walls, alongside a staggering collection of artworks. Every square inch, from walls to ceilings, sports distinct textures and finish, from inlaid leather within the game room to Honduran mahogany wood in the formal study.

The stunning dining room ceiling is a genuine replica of the Basilica San Marco – this was suggested by the owners to the interior decorator after a trip to Venice. The interior decorator I’m talking about is Rhonda Vander-White, the owner or RSVP Design Services.

As for the formal living room, it is elegant, superbly appointed and garnished with three sets of French doors opening towards the otherworldly pool, spa, kitchen area and outdoor living. The pavement itself is quite a special feature – Cosmati inlaid stone mosaic.
