LG is revolutionizing the world of refrigerators

This year's CES 2020 exhibition offered us much in the field of our kitchens…

Giving us a glimpse into the future, LG Electronics is introducing two new versions of its popular InstaView refrigerator - InstaView with Craft Ice, as well as LG InstaView ThinQ with an AI camera. Dan Song, president of LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution, said: "With technology that quickly transforms boring white boxes into exciting machines that can create custom ice, plan dinner and write a shopping list, our advanced ThinQ technology refrigerators are for clients who appreciate any help they can get in the kitchen.”

LG InstaView refrigerators are best known for their display, which gives users the opportunity to know what's behind their doors without opening them. As for the new models, they have thoughtful features to entertain and enhance the overall user experience.

Winner of the CES 2020 Innovation Award, the new InstaView fridge with Craft Ice comes with a built-in icemaker that can produce slow-melting, 5 cm-diameter spherical ice. The fridge made its debut in the United States last year, and will hit many new markets this year.

The second generation of InstaView ThinQ refrigerators has received brand new AI cameras, thanks to which it can identify various food products and alert customers of low supplies. The fridge will help by giving you meal suggestions based on the ingredients available. A transparent panel of new refrigerators can play the role of a display for surfing the internet or watching cooking videos while preparing a meal.

The basic idea behind these refrigerators is to create kitchen appliances that are convenient and enjoyable. Both refrigerators come with LG smart tech support, which helps maximize the use of the appliance.
