Dedon Swingrest designed by Daniel Pouzet...
Dedon is a respectable German manufacturer of luxury outdoor furniture with expertise that spans over more than two decades. Having previously amazed us with a stunning hanging lounger and a 360-degree rotating beach chair, the brand is now up with the brand new Swingrest penned down under the signature of Paris-based designer Daniel Pouzet.
The Swingrest is the first product to emerge from Dedon’s Outdoor Living Lab in Siargao, Phillippines, the Dedon island resort. Mr. Pouzet has reportedly based the design of the Swingrest on the aforementioned resort. Furthermore, this contraption is described as a gorgeous hanging piece over your verandah or terrace, or it may even be placed indoors. It is available in natural colored weave.
Some other aspects the designer has spent a lot of time working on are the refinement of the design details and the elegant suspension system. It relies on a tabletop able to rotate up to 160 degrees and some specially manufactured cordage wrapping around the exposed tubing. In addition, the Swingrest also boasts an optional fabric curtain cover, the perfect feature to provide some shade and privacy.
