Among the various devices presented at the recent CES, also is a new product from Bang & Olufsen.
It is a device called the BeoSound Essence, shaped like hockey puck and with distinctive Bang & Olufsen design. It can be easily hung to the wall. With one tap on its surface you can play music that you listen so far on your smartphone, for example. The aluminum ring is used to increase or decrease the sound or to change the song.
The system is actually composed of two components. The first is the aforementioned disk, and there is a box that you can put anywhere, which is actually a center for streaming the music from your phone, tablet or computer. The device is also AirPlay, Spotify Connectt and QPlay compatible. The part on the wall is connected to the box by RF technology, and this box communicates through a wireless network with your other devices. The device will be available in April and will cost $995.
