Luxury lifestyle brand Pent has already built a reputation for transforming everyday objects into sophisticated design statements.
After reinventing premium fitness equipment through exceptional craftsmanship and refined aesthetics, the company now brings the same philosophy to high-end audio with Pent Audio. In this collection, speakers are no longer discreet accessories hidden within a room—they become architectural centerpieces in their own right.
At the heart of the new lineup is the Gulia speaker, priced between US$7,200 and nearly US$9,000, depending on the level of customization. The positioning leaves little doubt about Pent's ambitions: Gulia is not designed for the mass market but for collectors and design enthusiasts who value exclusivity, artisanal craftsmanship, and timeless aesthetics as much as premium sound performance.
At first glance, Gulia resembles a contemporary sculpture rather than an audio component. A dramatic conical enclosure rises from a solid cylindrical wooden base, creating a striking silhouette that commands attention from every angle. The design feels both restrained and powerful, deliberately embracing visibility instead of attempting to disappear into its surroundings.
That philosophy reflects the vision of Pent founder Marcin Racek, who approaches design through the concepts of movement, ritual, and presence. Rather than concealing technology behind minimalist forms, Pent encourages its products to become defining elements of an interior, seamlessly integrating luxury craftsmanship with everyday living.
One of Gulia's most distinctive technical innovations is its ability to produce a complete stereo image from a single speaker. Unlike conventional stereo systems that require separate left and right channels, one Gulia unit delivers an immersive listening experience independently. This significantly simplifies room placement, eliminating the need for symmetrical speaker positioning or additional cabling while maintaining a sophisticated acoustic presentation.
Inside the sculptural enclosure lies an equally impressive engineering package. A 6.5-inch woofer, housed within the wooden base and powered by an 80-watt Class D amplifier, provides deep, controlled bass. Midrange and high frequencies are reproduced through two dedicated midrange drivers and two silk-dome tweeters, with each section benefiting from its own dedicated amplification to maximize clarity, balance, and precision across the frequency spectrum.
Modern connectivity is equally comprehensive. Gulia supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Apple AirPlay, Spotify, TIDAL, Deezer, and internet radio services. Pent is also developing a dedicated mobile application featuring multi-room functionality, allowing multiple speakers to operate seamlessly throughout larger residential spaces.
Customization remains one of the defining characteristics of the Pent experience. Clients can choose from premium wood finishes including walnut, oak, ash, and black ash, while leather upholstery is available in white, beige, dark beige, and black. Decorative accents can be finished in polished stainless steel or luxurious gold, while curated configuration packages offer professionally designed combinations for clients seeking a ready-made aesthetic.
Rather than competing directly with mainstream wireless speakers or traditional hi-fi manufacturers, Pent positions Gulia as a lifestyle object designed for individuals who view technology as an extension of their interior architecture. Every detail emphasizes craftsmanship, exclusivity, and visual impact as much as acoustic excellence.
With Gulia, Pent demonstrates that premium audio equipment no longer needs to be hidden away in corners or disguised as minimalist electronics. Instead, it becomes a sculptural work of functional art—one that continues to define the atmosphere of a room long after the music has stopped.
