Chanel novelty - Boy perfume

Chanel brand presents its new perfume, Boy Chanel...

This fragrance is trying to do the same thing as fashion that the brand represents - it is trying to mix up masculinity and femininity, to full stereotype upside down turn.

This will be the second perfume Olivier Polge for Chanel Les Exclusifs line. Polge says that the inspiration for the design of this fragrance comes from a lover Gabrielle Chanel, Arthur Capel. Polge’s father was the creator of Chanel perfume from 1978 to 2013, and he knew Capel, whose nickname was Boy, very well.

"This idea, in my opinion, was part of the brand for a long time," said the designer perfume, which transposes the idea of Chanel fashion: traditional male aesthetics becomes feminine when worn by women.

Boy Chanel perfume is the seventeenth in this line and it represents a complex mixture of lavender, geranium, coumarin, moss, lemon, orange blossom, sandalwood and vanilla. It was officially launched in Paris Chanel boutique, and will be available in 240 boutiques worldwide by June this year.

The price of the perfume, which will be available in versions of 75 and 200 ml, will be 175 and 320 euros.
