Chanel has unveiled its first makeup collection for the year, an assortment of interesting shades, called Desert Dream. Inspired by desert dunes, cave paintings and lunar plains, Lucia Picca, the global creative director for celebrity brand makeup, has created a novelty with a refreshed, blurred color palette. "I was looking for something poetic, like a memory - a natural filter that makes everything seem like a dream," Picca said.
The two cream eye shadows, in Contour Brun and Contour Mauve, can be used as eyeliner or as a base for complementary shades from two new Les 4 Ombres palettes. Elemental is a collection of matte brown tones, while the Warm Memories range goes from dark pink to peach tones. Four liquid metallic shades will give you a touch of shine, in tones of icy pearl, apricot and dirty pink.
Chanel Rouge Allure lipstick is refreshed with Rouge Brulant and Endless colors. The Eclat du Desert Highlighter, embellished with a sand dune print, follows two Baume Essential sticks in three colors, ranging from transparent to gold. Lastly, new shades of nail polish include Daydream and Mirage colors.
Novelties from the Chanel Spring / Summer 2020 Dessert Dream Collection range from $ 36 to $ 70, while all products can be purchased now.
