GUCCI FLORA 1966 PARFUME

The famous Italian fashion house Gucci has recently managed to bring the Flora fragrance line back to life, in the shape of the gorgeous Gucci Flora 1966...

The perfume celebrates the year the Flora motif was created, with design based on the Flora silk scarf Gucci made for Princess Grace Kelly.

They’ve gorgeously encased the exquisite limited edition fragrance in a beautiful black silk pouch dotted with a bright bouquet of peonies and long green leaves. As for the bottle itself, it is simply dyed in black. The perfume though is quite extravagant – it encompasses a mix of chypre notes of patchouli, mush and vetiver, in contrast to bergamot, bourbon pepper, rose and peony.

Frida Giannini, Creative Director of Gucci, describes: “The year 1966 is a milestone in Gucci’s history. It marks the birth of the Flora motif. The fragrance, with its silken texture, will make every woman feel like a modern day icon.”
