New Balenciaga campaign celebrates love
While summer is still keeping us warm with its hot days, Balenciaga is definitely looking forward to colder times…
This luxury brand has just presented their first view of Winter 2019 collection, with a campaign which represents real life couples. This lookbook, decorated with Balenciaga logo, present us with lovers of different sexualities and ethnicities, who have posed in Paris.
Along with the photographs created by a wedding photographer, Gregg Fink, this campaign is followed by a video done by Ed Fornieles. The video is created in a “surveillance tape” style, presenting couples in love in elevators, hallways, grocery stores and other locations. Passionate kisses and gentle moments were followed by vocal narration done by the couples, who have spoken about their partners. Whether it is seen as a cliché, a perfect scene or a small gesture, this video is eerie and lovely at the same time, while it present the winter collection in everyday situations.
New Balenciaga range consists of elevated pieces, like coats and jackets, as well as evening wear with long gowns, power suits, low and round necks and dresses created like trench coats. This brand is certainly not shy when it comes to the use of color in winter season, so this time, they offered bright pink, lime and cobalt blue pieces. Also, a new range of bags is offered, with many different models.
