Famous French crystal maker, Baccarat, is marking two and a half century existence in a very specific way. They are throwing an artistic exhibition of their most valuable and finest masterpieces in the luxury Harrods department store, which will be open from March 6 till March 29. The history of this amazing company starts in the year 1764, in the era when King Louis XV ruled France. Under his patronage, Baccarat had started the expansion of the brand outside the French borders. Their esteemed clients, who have been devoted to them in the last two centuries are rich Maharajas, presidents, emperors and kings, dukes and duchesses, while the most famous are Prince Ranier and Princess Grace of Monaco, Josephine Baker and Aristotle Onassis.
During the next few days, beautiful and luxury Baccarat crystal decorations will be the main elements of Harrods windows. Unique and priceless object which are perfect embodiments of their renewed tradition, perfect pieces and special collection will be presented in this famous and luxury department store’s windows.
Exhibition aside, Baccarat brand had opened a pop up boutique in the ground floor of Harrods. They are presenting an incredible assortment of their products in this space. On the second floor, visitor can learn about the history of this amazing brand, through the exhibition of Harcourt glass objects. These objects are known to be table decorations of many appreciated people, who left their mark in history of the world, like Napoleon III, Prince of Cambodia, presidents of Togo, Mexico and Brazil.
