But it is when the pieces are in motion, delicately spinning on their cone-shaped bases, that this luxury line of handmade glass objects truly captivates.
Bluette was born as a collaboration between artist Paola Navone and Egizia, one of Italy’s finest glass producers. The collection includes obliquely-cut goblets, bowls, trays, vases, and accessories that are all blown and finished completely by hand. The pieces come in a variety of sizes and are decorated with soft brush strokes of 980/1000 silver to catch and reflect the light. A signature splash of blue finishes each object with an unexpected pop of energizing colour.
