One of the most interesting pieces is put up for sale is a sculpture of the famous Jeff Koons, Balloon Venus for Dom Perignon. Koons is considered to be one of the best contemporary artists from America, and this sculpture was created in 2013. It is inspired by the figure that was found in Austria and represents Koons’ vision and adaptation of sculpture, which presents us with a new kind of idol: the model of the goddess of love that accepts its sensual curves. A smaller version of the pink chrome sculpture was created as a holder of Dom Perignon Rose 2003 edition. Similar to its muse, Balloon Venus acts as a protector of bottles of wine. With only 650 pieces created, this is really a piece for collectors. It will be on sale on 19th of May, and is estimated to fetch in the range of 40,000 to 60,000 Euros.
