For Spring/Summer 2026, Bvlgari elevates the world of leather accessories to the level of contemporary high art, merging the Maison’s legendary jewelled heritage with the virtuosity of fine leather craftsmanship.
Under the creative direction of Mary Katrantzou, the collection reinterprets the iconic Serpenti, Divas’ Dream and Tubogas motifs into elegant, fluid forms that feel like wearable heirlooms. Bvlgari’s philosophy of High Craft manifests in sculptural silhouettes, refined finishes and subtle jewelled references that imbue each piece with the soul of haute joaillerie.
At the centre of the narrative is the highly anticipated Serpenti Cuore 1968—a revival of the cult heart-shaped bag, featuring a metal top handle inspired by the historical Serpenti Harlequin watch from the same year. For SS26, it appears in an ultra-soft Light Amethyst version, preserving the nostalgic silhouette while infusing it with contemporary energy. Its smaller counterpart, Serpenti Cuoricino, channels the same sensuality in a compact format.
A vivid colour palette—Royal Ruby, Dusty Pink, Tangerine Garnet, Sunbeam Citrine and Feroza Turquoise—speaks to the new chromatic identity Katrantzou brings to Bvlgari’s leather universe. From mid-January, two Neige Pave Crystal editions will debut, each hand-embellished with more than 1,600 Swarovski crystals in Gold or Rainbow versions, positioning them as true collector’s gems.
The collection also introduces a new interpretation of the Calla motif, inspired by a fragment of ancient Rome and the restored mosaics of the Baths of Caracalla. Katrantzou translates this silhouette into the contemporary language of leather—romantic, architectural and universally appealing, echoing the timeless spirit of Roman aesthetics that has always underpinned Bvlgari’s identity.
Across the season, Bvlgari underscores that leather has long been a natural extension of its jewellery philosophy. This continuity is evident in historic creations such as the Magnifica Serpenti Forever Emerald & Ruby bag and in the ongoing evolution of the Serpenti Infinito line, where the iconic snake motif transforms through new materials, techniques and proportions. Each reinvention affirms Bvlgari’s belief that a leather accessory can be as sophisticated, technically intricate and emotionally resonant as a fine jewellery piece.
SS26 becomes a celebration of materiality and symbolism—a place where Roman heritage is read through smooth leather surfaces, and jewelled refinement is expressed through every sculpted curve.
Bvlgari Spring/Summer 2026 presents a season in which leather pieces become modern icons: wearable artefacts that honour tradition, innovation and the Maison’s unmistakable character.
